SRINAGAR
The gunfight which started last evening in Kupwara district has so far claimed 4 lives.
Sources said that two militants, an army man and a policeman have been killed in the encounter at Zunreshi Chowkibal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
They added that after specific information about the presence of militants, a joint operation was launched by Army and Police on Monday evening.
Sources said that the operation was going on when the reports last came in.
