SRINAGAR: Samba police filed an FIR against five individuals, including BDC Chairman Darshan Lal Chaudhary and his son Shubham Chaudhary, for an assault case in Khaur Salaria village of Ramgarh.
The dispute arose during the resolution of a land conflict between two families, leading to a heated argument and subsequent physical altercation.
Shoba Devi sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. The police, responding to the incident, registered a case against BDC Chairman Darshan Lal Chaudhary, his son Shubham Chaudhary, Tilak Raj, Surinder Singh, and Yograj.
Additionally, a case was filed against Shobha Devi and her husband Sunder Dass based on a complaint by BDC Chairman Darshan Lal Choudhary. The investigation is underway, with no arrests made at this point.
