King Abdul-Aziz University, Saudia Arabia is offering Fully Funded Scholarship

SRINAGAR: King Abdulaziz University is inviting applications for Fully Funded Scholarships in Saudi Arabia for all International Students from around the world. The application process is open throughout the year.

The Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 offers complete financial coverage for international students pursuing undergraduate, masters, and PhD programmes. The University is providing a range of academic programmes, encompassing Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Arts, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, and Sciences Fields, for both Master’s and PhD levels.

The programme period for undergraduates is four years, for masters is two years and for PhD is three years. The courses available for undergraduate programme involve Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Communication and Media, Environmental Designs, Faculty of Marine Sciences, Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Earth Sciences, and Faculty of Computing and Information Technology.

The scholarship benefits include Welcoming new students at the airport, providing a two-month stipend upon arrival as a preparation allowance, a monthly stipend, a distinction allowance for outstanding students providing a three-month stipend as a graduation allowance for book shipment, ensuring ongoing financial assistance and support until students are well-established. Providing emergency subsidies and financial aid to students. Arranging suitable accommodation for scholarship students and monitoring their well-being in their places of residence throughout the academic year, offering solutions in case of any issues and providing affordable food options and healthcare services for students.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the application involve:
Undergraduate eligibility Requirements:
The student should possess a secondary school graduation certificate or an equivalent qualification from within the KSA or abroad. The student’s secondary school graduation certificate should not be more than 3 years old. For undergraduate admission, students should be between 17 and 25 years old. Female students must be accompanied by a relative within the prohibited degrees with regular residence.

 

Masters and PhD eligibility Requirements:
Students must not be older than 30 years old for Masters and 35 Year for PhD. Students must obtain a recognized qualification in his/her own country with a minimum grade (very good) in case their final degree classifications were awarded in an estimate and English Language Test Certificate. The student must provide two recommendation letters from his/her previous faculty members. Students must not have been dismissed from one of the Saudi Institutions. Candidates of Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Law and Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Information Science programs must be professional in spoken and written Arabic language.

The documents required for the scholarship include:
Curriculum vitae for the applicant. Statement of purpose must be in English for all programmes except in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language. A copy of the previous degree certificate (certified by the Saudi Embassy). A copy of the transcript (certified by the Saudi Embassy). Recommendation letters should be submitted from two of their former professors. A copy of a valid passport, with at least one year of validity. Photographs, and Language Proficiency Certificate.
