SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has announced the initiation of NEET UG Counselling 2023 for students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Starting from July 19, eligible candidates who have successfully cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) can now submit their application forms on the official website. The deadline for application submission is set for July 23.
As part of the counselling process, applicants must provide mandatory documents online.
These include the NEET UG 2023 score card, 10+2 marks card, Domicile certificate of UT of J&K/Ladakh (ST Category certificate for Ladakh candidates), Category certificate (if applicable), and Date of birth proof (Matriculation or Class 10 pass certificate). Candidates from Ladakh are also required to upload a Compulsory Service Bond, which can be found in the information brochure provided here.
Moreover, the board has disclosed the category-wise NEET UG cut-off scores as follows; For the Open merit list (including JKPM/Child of PMF/CDP/Sports/EWS) category, the cut-off is set at 137 marks. Physically Handicapped/PWD candidates falling under the Open merit list have a cut-off of 121 marks. Meanwhile, candidates from the SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP category in J&K/Ladakh have a cut-off of 107 marks. The same cut-off applies to Physically Handicapped/PWD candidates in the SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP category. Finally, ST Physically Handicapped/PWD candidates are required to reach a cut-off of 108 marks.
