Employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) will get 15% Dearness Allowances (DA) from this month, corporation board of directors has decided.
Reviewing SRTC performance, it was informed that the PSU has earned a revenue of Rs 99.84 crore during 2013-14 which was Rs. 89.96 crore in 2012-13. It means an appreciation of revenue by 11% in one year. In view of the better performance and encouraging revenue generation, the Board released 15 percent DA installment in favour of the employees from this month.
The meeting also adopted the constitution of Establishment and Finance Committee for regularization of establishment and finance matters of the Corporation, Constitution of Sub-Committee of Board under the Chairmanship of Economic Advisor, J&K Government to examine release of COLA/6th Pay arrears in favour of SRTC/erstwhile GTU employees and Constitution of Committee to examine proposed revision of delegation of powers.
The Board also approved the Budget estimate of the Corporation for the year 2014-15 while the revised estimate for the year 2013-14 were also approved besides adoption of accounts for the year 2010-11 and 2011-12 for further submission of CAG for auditing. Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan presided over the meeting.
