Hurriyat Conference faction led by Syed Ali Geelani has called for a shutdown on July 20 (Sunday), in Kulgam district against the killing of a youth in firing by government forces.
Ayaz Akbar, the spokesperson of the outfit, said the strike was for the Kulgam district only.
“We urge the people of Kulgam district to observe a complete shutdown against the killing of a youth,” Akbar said.
Suhail Ahmad Lone was killed in a firing incident in Qaimoh, Khudwani area of the district today.
