JKSA Writes To LG Sinha To Facilitate Return Of MBBS Student Body From Bangladesh

SRINAGAR: J&K Students Association on Wednesday wrote to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged him to facilitate the return of the mortal remains of a Kashmiri girl, who was pursuing MBBS in Bangladesh.

In a statement, National Spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami said that, an MBBS student namely Seema Zehra who was pursuing her studies in Addin Sakina Medical College Jessore Bangladesh died during the night of January 12. The cause of death is not known yet, he added.

Khuehami said that Seema Zehra was 2nd-year Medical (MBBS) student and her body is stuck in Dhaka. The family needs assistance in getting the young student’s mortal remains back.

He requested Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to take immediate steps with the Ministry of External Affairs to help in bringing a body of the deceased back home from Bangladesh for the last rites at her ancestral village.
