SRINAGAR: Two brothers were killed and another injured when a bulldozer skidded off a road and plunged into a deep gorge in Doda district.
Reports said a bulldozer on way to Bhatyas from Bharti skidded off a road and plunged into a deep gorge at Shahlala area of Doda around 11.30 pm on Saturday.
In the mishap, two brothers identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, 22, his 19-year-old brother Ishtiaq Ahmed, sons of Atta Mohd Sheikh died and another person identified as Fareed Ahmed Gujjar son of Alaf Din was injured.
Gujjar was referred to Government Medical College Hospital Doda for specialised treatment, said the reports.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations were taken up.
