Former VC IUST, Mushtaq Sidiquee, Principal GMC, Samia Rasheed who also were present, released two CDs Sakoon Diluk and Mioth Zahar a collection of the Urdu as well as Kashmiri poetry written by Dr Tabish and sung by renowned music composer and singer Kifayat Faheem and noted singer Shazia Bashir.
Talat termed Tabish as a living encyclopaedia who has contributed enormously in the field of medical science and literature. Dr Tabishm he said, has authored 14 books and has won around 60 national and international awards for his extraordinary work in the field. The book in Kashmiri that he released has covered around 30 renowned persons for their tremendous contribution in the field of history, science, philosophy, sufi artists and other areas.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Mushtaq Sidiquee, poet and writer, and Inayat Gul. On the occasion, Kifayat Faheem and Shazia Bashir enthralled the audience with their performances. Those who attended the function included Inam Ul Haq Sidiquee, Professor Mohammad Zaman Azarda, Zareef Ahmad Zareef and other eminent poets and doctors and other professionals.
