SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) members of parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah, Husnain Masoodi, Mohammad Akbar Lone on Monday protested in front of the Gandhi statue in the foreground of Parliament House against recent encounters and demanded the restoration of Article 370 and Article 35 A.
Dr Farooq Abdullah, Akbar Lone and Masoodi held placards which read” Order Judicial probe into Hyderpora, Rambagh and Laaypora shootouts”, “Like farm laws revoke 5th August 2019 Unconstitutional Decisions and “RESTORE Article 370,35A” and depicting the pictures of the slain men who were killed in the Hyderpora encounter.

The NC MPs also gave a short attention notice under Rule No. 193 to discuss the prevailing situation in J&K.
Masoodi in his individual capacity also gave a calling attention notice for discussion on Hyderpora shootout, said NC spokesman in a tweet.
