Srinagar: Alleging army men thrashing of a driver and a shopkeeper, protests erupted at Sopernaghama (Qaziabad) Chowk of north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Sunday.
The locals alleged that without any provocation, army men thrashed the duo.
According to reports, soon after the incident all shops were shut in the area and vehicular movement came to a standstill on the Baramulla – Kupwara highway.
The protesters raising slogans were seeking immediate action against the army personnel involved in this incident.
