Srinagar: Suspected militants on Wednesday evening fired gun shots towards a police party in Yaripora in southern part of Kashmir’s Kulgam district, reports said.
However, no one was injured in the incident, they said.

Reports said that they heard few gunshots around the police station, which was followed by intense firing thereby causing fear among the people.
Soon after the incident, sources said forces cordoned a large area and started searching for the militants.
Reports said, a group of militants fired towards the police station and the firing was retaliated following which the militants fled the scene.
A search operation has been initiated to nab the gunmen.
