SRINAGAR: Two militants killed in a gunfight with the counter-insurgent forces in in Hardumir area in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district were affiliated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) outfit, police said.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar identified the slain as Nadeem Nazir Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat resident of Koil Shikargah Tral and Rahi Rasool Bhat @Adil son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Kanipora Dadsara, an IED expert affiliated with proscribed Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) outfit.

“Two AK series rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of killed militants,” he said.
“Both were involved in several militant incidents including IED blast and grenade throwing,” IGP Kashmir said.
