Man crushed to death by ‘unknown vehicle’ in Ganderbal

An unknown vehicle on Thursday crushed a man to death at Ahan Ganderbal on Srinagar-Leh highway.

Officials said that Abdul Rashid Mir (55) son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a farmer was killed after an unknown vehicle hit him in his locality and fled from the spot.

Locals said that Rashid died on spot.

Police have registered a case in this connection and have taken up the investigation.
