Office Opened in Srinagar to ‘Facilitate’ MBBS Admissions in Russia

RUS education, an organisation authorised by Russian Centre for Science and Culture of the Russian Embassy Tuesday opened its office in Srinagar to facilitate admission for MBBS courses in Russia for aspirants from Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr Dinesh Singla, Director Education Abroad (unit of RUS Education) said that the organisation after realising that the students from Jammu and Kashmir are more interested in pursuing the MBBS courses has opened its office in Srinagar.

“We will facilitate the admission of the students from here right from the day they are admitted in the colleges and universities till their completion,” Dr Singla told reporters here.

According to KNS, Dr Singla said that MBBS courses fee ranges from Rs 9 lakh to Rs 25 lakh in Russia.

“Russian colleges will take care of the security concerns of the students from India and Jammu and Kashmir as well,” he said adding that the Russian colleges have allotted subsidized packages for the students and will provide 50 free seats for students with academic excellence.

Leena Burman, Head Education Department (Russian Centre for Science and Culture) said that the students who will study MBBS will have 100 percent chances of employment opportunities across the world. She said that 1200 students will be provided admission in Russia for MBBS courses.

Burman said that the students who pursue MBBS in Russia are trained by professionals for qualifying Medical Council of India entrance.
