Former Home Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference’s upper house member, Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo Saturday demanded an inquiry into the killing of over dozen people in Kashmir.

While demanding the inclusion of slain dozen who fell to anonymous bullets into obituary reference, Kitchloo said, “there should an inquiry into the killings. People should come to know who is behind these innocent killings”

Kitchloo held portfolios of Home and Industries during Omar Abdullah led NC-Congress coalition in state. He represented Kishtwar seat in state legislature’s lower house.

Pertinently, over a dozen people were killed by anonymous gunmen in past few months in North Kashmir, especially from Sopore.

Seconding Kitchloo, NC’s another legislative council member, Dr Bashir Veeri, while paying tributes to late Indian president, APJ Abul Kalam, former late members of state legislature, expressed sympathies with the family of Burhan, a toddler from Sopore, who fell to bullets of unknown gunmen.
