Army porter falls down from hillside, dies

Srinagar

An army porter died on Monday after he fell down from a hillside in Nambla Uri area of north Kashmir.

An official said that a 35-year-old army porter identified as Naseer Ahmad Bajad, son of Umar-Din, a resident of Nambla C Uri, posted at Rustam fell down from a hillside and died on spot.

The official said that the army is trying to retrieve the dead body.
