Slain militant’s detained brother escapes from custody

Slain Hizb militants brother who was detained in connection with the murder of a man in Shopian district of south Kashmir, has escaped from a police station on Tuesday late evening.

An official said that Suhail Ahmad Wani of Heff Shopian who was detained with two other men last week, escaped from Police Station Zainpora around 8:30 pm on Tuesday.

Wani is a brother of a slain Hizb militant Nasir Wani.
