A minor boy drowned to death while taking a bath in a stream in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday evening, reports claimed.
Reports said that slain boy identified as Syed Hanan, a resident of Dangerpora area of Sopore town in Baramulla district., drowned while taking a bath along with other local boys in a nallah at Puhru near Babgund, resulting in his death.
Hanan’s body was later retrieved by the locals. Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard.
