A cloudburst on Tuesday triggered flash floods and damaged several apple orchards in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
An official said that the Cloudburst took place at Dachoo area of Hirpora and Sedow village in Shopian.
He said that the cloudburst caused damages to several apple orchards and killed a few animals.
He added a team of SDMA was instantly rushed to the area to monitor the situation and to ensure the people don’t face any inconvenience.
“The situation is under control. People need not to panic,” he said.
