Deputy Controller Drugs & Food Control Organization on Tuesday issued an advisory for poultry farm dealers that they shall stop the use of antibiotics in poultry birds 72-hours (3 days) prior supplying to market.
Moreover, the antibiotics should be administered only under veterinary supervision. The advisory said strict action under the law would be initiated against violators.
