Army personnel killed during gunfight in northern Kashmir’s Keran sector

An army personnel was killed in an encounter with militants in Keran sector of Kupwara district in northern part of Kashmir on Wednesday.

Reports said that a gun-battle broke out at Choken Post in Keran sector near the Line of Control at around 7.30 am. “An army man was killed in the exchange of firing between the two sides.
