Alleged murder? Mudassir’s family demand questioning of her in-laws, husband

Suspecting foul in the alleged case of suicide by their daughter, the family of Mudasir Aziz – a Junior Engineer, who allegedly committed suicide last month – on Monday protested in Press Enclave Srinagar against “gentle behavior of police with the culprits”.

The family said that they want police to question her in-laws and her husband. They claimed that he in-laws would repeatedly harass her.

On May 5, they received a call from her in-laws that Mudasir had committed suicide.

Raising slogans for justice, one of the family members of Mudassir said that they want to know two things. “What were the husband and wife arguing about before she left the house and how did they (in-laws) know she went to Zaina Kadal bridge? There are many bridges on the way to Zaina Kadal.”
