Srinagar
As the government forces laid siege in Khudwani area of Kulgam, there are reports that encounter has started and militants have engaged government forces in gun battle.
However police officials did not confirm the encounter but said clashes have erupted in the area.
Locals told Kashmir Life over phone that there is heavy shelling going on in the area but said no encounter as of now has started
