Students of Gandhi Memorial College and MP ML Higher Secondary school on Monday clashed with forces.
Reports said that the students came on roads and started protesting against use of force on students.

They said that students assembled on main road and chanted “pro-freedom” slogans. “Police lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse them which trigged clashes in the area.” Clashes were going on in the area when last reports came in.
Concerned police officials could not be reached despite repeated attempts.
