No politician on Jan 26 in Kashmir, Babus takeover

For the first time, the January 26 functions in Kashmir valley would be observed without the participation of politicians.

Reports said that none of the ministers has been able to make it to Srinagar ahead of the Jan 26 functions due to bad weather.

Sources in the government said that the state plane had denied flying in the morning owing to inclement weather conditions.

They said that government kept one commercial flight at Jammu airport till 4 pm hoping that the weather will improve. However, since the weather didn’t permit, none of the ministers has been able to make it to Srinagar, meaning the January 26 functions will not witness the participation of politicians.
