Militants Wednesday fired at a police picket in Kulgam district in the southern part of Kashmir but managed to flee from the spot.
The militants targeted the picket at Gofabal in Kulgam at around 6.00 pm, reports quoting a police official said.
He said the cops retaliated forcing the militants to flee from the place.
