Encounter broke out between suspected militants and armed forces in Shopian forests in South Kashmir early Saturday morning.
Reports said that forces early morning launched search operations in Dobjan forest area, about 25 Kilometers from the Shopian district headquarter, over the specific input of militant presence.
“The encounter broke out in the morning and the further details are yet to come,” Srinagar based defence spokesperson told Kashmir Life.
Dobjan is a forest area situated on Mughal Road.
When contacted police spokesperson said, “we are in process of getting details.”
