All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani on Thursday strongly condemned the ‘ransacking and shelling’ on the shrine of Jenab Sahab Soura, Hygam Sopore, Bandipora, Shopian and adjoining areas and house-to-house search operation to nab the pro-freedom youth, which led to large scale of protest demonstrations.
“… and to curb them, police and forces resorted to indiscriminate shelling, lathi charge and PAVA shells firing caused severe discomfort and breathing difficulties not only in locals but the patients and their attendants in SKIMS as well,” the Hurriyat Conference said referring to Aanchar Soura situation on Wednesday.
“Government, at the behest of their partner in crime, continues to suck the blood of people,” the Hurriyat Conference said, “they have no patience, sanity or mindful thinking and to every issue and problem they have only one answer i.e. ruthless force. They use their bullets, pellets, lathis, teargas and PAVA shells, jails and interrogation centers as the only remedy for every issue and any voice raised against the oppression, as they lack the wisdom, logic and the morality.”
Geelani led Hurriyat Conference said, “to hide their blood drenched hands, they (government) shed more blood and this vicious circle seems to have no end, as they have joined hands with Sangh Parivar to quell the people in general and pro-freedom youth in particular as every tragedy, disaster and disturbance encourages them to ask for more armoury support and personnel perks, from their masters.”
“These flummeries are habitual of doing so for long and their greed and lust has no end. Like their masters in Delhi, these henchmen too base their politics on the brazen lies and gross deceit, and as the genetically certified traitors they can go to any extent for their personnel ego. They have stationed the killer force in our schools, hospitals, universities, research institutions, on roads, localities and even around our houses and then shout for peace and normalcy only to juggle the people,” the Hurriyat Conference said. “Had they been sincere or concerned, they should have released thousands of people from jail, stopped the ransacking operations and the widespread arrests to prove themselves at least humans. But they fume the flames of brutality further to cement their ministerial berths.”
Strongly condemning the “vandalism and highhandedness” of police and forces in Hygam, Sopore, Bandipora, Shopian, the Hurriyat Conference said, “as these far-flung areas are less approached by media, uncontrolled and ill-mannered police and armed forces are free to commit every gross and grave crime against them. To arrest an individual, subjecting the whole area to ransom, is nothing but show of power of arrogance and pleasing themselves by humiliating even the aged people.”
“People irrespective of their age are tortured ruthlessly and in such a similar incident at Baramulla jail, an 80-year-old Gh Mustafa Wani, Mehraj-ud-din Nanda, Javid Ahmad Dar, Ashiq Hussain Mir, Faisal Ahmad Mir and Nisar Ahmad had been beaten to pulp and Mustafa Sahab’s arm was fractured and since then they all are on hunger strike,” the statement said.
While condemning the long and torturous crackdown in Bijbehara, the Hurriyat Conference said, “these multi-faced political rogues don’t hesitate to knock the doors of the same people with a begging bowl for votes and once they, after exploiting their weakness reach zenith of their political destination, they put the people to the mercy of killer armed forces and themselves appear only in media to deliver hollow sermons and show artificial concern about peace, tranquillity and development. They being congenital traitors and familial stooges never give an ear to the pain, agony, turbulence, devastation and political uncertainty and are only concerned about their personnel gains.”
“Unless this class of ironclad, self-centred hatchery of confederators sees the clear writing on the wall and come in terms with the realistic and ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir, their mockery of parroting peace and talks can never rescue this nation from the slum of atrocious and suffocating environment,” the Hurriyat Conference (g) said.
“Hurriyat (Conference) once again reiterated its intend and will, never to legitimize the unholy, unjustified and forced rule of India and will continue to fight till we achieve the goal of freedom,” the statement added.
