At least thirty vehicles raided Chrath village in Qazigund area on Monday, locals said.
They said that armed Rashtriya Rifles men went berserk in the village beating whoever came in their way.
“RR Men from Devsar based 9 RR camp and vandalized the private property,” a local said over phone from the village.
He said that men, women, children were beaten up.
“At least twenty private vehicles and motor bikes were damaged beyond repair,” he informed.
The army came around 11:30 AM and left the village an hour late, he said.
