Hurriyat Conference (m) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was arrested from his Nigeen residence.

He was scheduled to address a gathering in Jamia Masjid on telephone on Nimaz Magrib, a statement issued by Hurriyat Conference (m) said Thursday late evening.
