In a bid to end their lives two girls attempted to commit suicide in Budgam and Kulgam.
A girl (name withheld) resident of Khag, Budgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Khag Hospital for treatment wherefrom she was referred to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a girl (name withheld) resident of Wantpora, Dooru at present Chowgam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund set ablaze herself by sprinkling kerosene oil. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Qazigund for treatment wherefrom she was referred to District Hospital Anantnag for further treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
