Scores of Imams Friday held a massive protest demonstration in Srinagar against Akhil Bharatiya Hundu Mahasabha (ABHM) Leader Kamlesh Tiwari who had passed derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Imams from various Mosques of Srinagar city and adjoining localities participated in the protest.
Protestors raised slogans in favour of Islam, Muhammad SAW and carried banners denouncing the act of Tiwari.
The protesting Imams demanded stern action be taken against the ‘Hindu Bigot’ and that such incidents were not tolerable to Muslims. “It is our duty to protect the honour and regard of our beloved prophet SAW come what may. We are even ready to die for his highness,” they said.
