Six pilgrims were killed on Monday when a helicopter ferrying them to the Vaishno Devi temple crashed soon after taking a flight from Sanjhichatt near Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The chopper crashed in Katra Bus Stand.

A police official in Katra Police Station while confirming the accident said all the pilgrims travelling in the helicopter died in the crash, including a woman pilot.
However, he said, the reason behind the crash is yet to be ascertained.
