Abdul Basit, Pakistan High Commissioner to India Tuesday said “extremist elements” in India do not want improvement in relations with Pakistan.
Talking with a private television channel, he said Pakistan wants to address all issues, including terrorism and Kashmir, with India through dialogue.
Reports said that the envoy regretted rising violent incidents in Maharashtra, adding that attacks by “extremist Hindus” on Muslims in India and Kashmiris were a cause of concern.
