An army man was killed in an accidental gunfire while he was performing duty at Bonyar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Official sources told GNS that the personnel identified as Sepoy Sukhinder Singh of 8 Rajput Regiment posted at Sharmili Post hit by a bullet when his service rifle went off accidentally resulting in critical injuries to him.
He was immediately rushed to army’s 92 base hospital here in Srinagar, however, doctors present there declared him brought dead.
