Suspected Militants Killed Two CRPF Men in Sangam

SRINAGAR

On Monday afternoon, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) party was attacked by suspected militant attack at Halmulla Sangam in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district. Two CRPF men including an officer was killed in the attack.

The police official while confirming the attack said the suspected militants opened indiscriminate firing on the CRPF party, killing two paramilitary men and fled from the spot. The deceased have been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Omkar Singh and Constable Tilak Raj.

Meanwhile, police has reached at the spot and has started investigation.
