Police Seize Diesel in Bandipora, Arrest Two

Police arrested two persons and recovered 770 litres of diesel from them.

On specific information a police party headed by SHO Sumbal Mehboob Beigh laid a naka at Naid Khai, a police statement said Saturday afternoon.

“During the naka checking 770 litres of diesel carrying in three barrels and  four canes was recovered from a vehicle bearing registration number JK15-4577 driven by Ishfaq Nabi Teli son of Ghulam Nabi Teli resident of Manzpora. Two persons Farooq Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Ahad Lone resident of Manzpora and the driver of the vehicle were arrested,” the statement said. A case FIR No. 90/2015 under section 3/7 EC act in Police Station Sumbal.
