On Monday, Awantipora police recovered the body of missing person who had gone in a nearby jungle to collect wild Mushroom from the jungle on May 02.
The body of a missing person Ghulam Mohammad Bhat @ Mum Bhat son of Ali Mohammad Bhat resident of Koil Shikargah was recovered near Chari-Sangri of Shikargah forests.
According to his family members he went missing since May 02, when he left to collect wild Mushroom in the jungle. Apparently he had slipped from a cliff into a nallah.
Police has started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death. The body was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
