GOC-in-C Western Command Calls on CM

GOC-in-C Western Command Lt Gen K J Singh called on the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed at his residence in Jammu on Monday.

“During the meeting, Lt Gen Singh briefed the Chief Minister about the overall security situation in the areas of his responsibility, particularly along International Border in Jammu region and beyond,” an official statement said this evening.

The CM discussed with Lt Gen Singh several important issues relating to external security management in the region.

“The CM was presented a Memento along with a Coffee Table Book by GOC-in-C Western Command on the occasion,” the statement said.
