Dr Farooq Abdullah Is Back

National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah arrived in Srinagar on Thursday from Delhi after undergoing a surgery and intensive follow-up treatment in London.

Farooq Abdullah was welcomed at Srinagar Airport by Senior National Conference Leaders, workers and party activists.

Before arriving in Srinagar, Dr Abdullah spent a few weeks in Delhi after arriving back from London where he underwent a Kidney transplant surgery.

“On arriving at Srinagar Airport, Dr Farooq Abdullah prayed for the State’s prosperity and integrity and said the interests of the common-man are paramount and should be the focal point of all politics,” NC spokesman said.

Dr Abdullah also said that J&K’s political honour and dignity cannot be toyed with at any cost and that National Conference would continue to be the bulwark of the State’s political aspirations and sentiments.
