The proposed reshuffle in police administration was postponed by the state cabinet which met in Jammu on Monday afternoon.
Sources told KNS that the reshuffle was postponed in the backdrop of reservations by some ministers who wanted it to be held after the assembly session is over next week.
KNS had earlier reported that the cabinet shall go for the massive overhaul in the police administration with the transfers of some senior police officials of the state in today’s meeting.
