Amid clashes in south Kashmir’s Tral, Khalid Wani killed by army in Kamla woods Monday was laid to rest with moist eyes.
Khalid, a brother of a top Hizb militant, Burhan Wani was buried in Martyrs Graveyard in Tral.
As per reports, a fierce protests and stone pelting is going on in many parts of Tral against the killing.
Khalid, as per police, had gone to meet his brother with food in Kamla forests of Tral. While police claims he was killed in army cross firing, but his father reportedly said that Khalid was “tortured to death”.
People turned for Khalid’s funeral.
Meanwhile, police had to resort to tear gas shelling to disperse protestors, many of whom have been left injured in the ongoing clashes.
