RS Election: PDP, BJP Win One Each In First Rounds

SRINAGAR

PDP’s Fayaz Ahmad Mir has won in the first round of election securing 56 votes. Interestingly, however, there was one NOTA vote as well in the first round.

In the second round of election, BJPs Shamsher Singh Manhas was declared a winner. He has secure 57 votes.

The two were contesting against NC’s Nasir Aslam Sogami and Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo.

The results of third crucial poll is yet to be declared and many take a few minutes more, reports from Jammu said
