A 36-year married woman in Beerwah Budgam has allegedly been abducted by a carpet businessman, forcing her husband to register a case in police station Beerwah.
According to a complaint filed by the victim’s husband Ghulam Hasan Lone, a resident of Warahgam Beerwah was on way to Srinagar when a resident from neighbouring Alamgoza village, Abdul Gani Lone intercepted her and abducted her.
“We have three little children while my wife, who has been abducted by a licentious fellow, is innocent and helpless,” the husband of the abducted woman told CNS and appealed police chief to take measures in locating his wife and the culprit.
