DIG south Kashmir, Ali Mohammad Bhat, Monday visited DPL Shopian, and inaugurated GO’s mess, ladies waiting room, MT and workshop constructed on self-help basis.
He formally inaugurated joint law & order training module in which law & order training is imparted to CRPF, JKAP/JKP and IRP personnel.
DIG stressed upon the need to effectively handle law & order situations and prevent unfortunate incidents during handling such incidents.
The DIG said, “proper infrastructure and good training plays a vital role to enhance efficiency of any organization to provide better services to general masses”.
The inauguration was followed by meeting with the officers of Police, CRPF & Army. This was followed by an interactive session in which all sister agencies/PMF participated wherein law and order and crime were deliberated upon
The DIG was briefed about all aspects of Policing in the District and the present scenario as well, viz a viz law & order, militancy & Police Public relations.
Chairing the meeting of officers the DIG south Kashmir was informed by SSP Shopian, Altaf Ahmad Khan about the infrastructure and manpower provided with the District Police and urgent requirement in shape of demands were also put forth before the DIG.
