SRINAGAR
At a time when state legislative assembly is under suspended animation, the chairman of the legislative council Amrit Malhotra on Saturday nominated Jehangir Hussain Mir as Chairman of the Select Committee in respect of Mehboob-ul-Aalam University Bill, 2014.
The move is in consequent upon the motion adopted by the legislative council on August 30, 2014.
The legislators Showkat Hussain Ganie, Syed Naeem Akther Andrabi, Dr. Shehnaz Ganie and Mohammad Muzaffar Parray have been nominated as members of the Committee.
