SRINAGAR
A police party Wednesday seized 2350 Codeine Phosphate bottles from a truck that was on way to Srinagar from Jammu at Lower Munda check post in Qazigund area in south Kashmir.
A police official told CNS that they intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK13A-7248 of New Kashmir road at Lower Munda.
“As our men started searching the truck, the driver fled from the spot. We recovered 2350 Codeine Phosphate bottles from the truck,” he said adding that police seized the truck and efforts are on to nab the driver.
