Trooper commits suicide

SRINAGAR

An Army trooper deployed in Wusan camp of 24 Rashtriya Rifles in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district shot himself dead with his service rifle on Sunday night, police said.

According to CNS, Sunil Bharat Kumar aka SBK (148540/K) was posted at 24 RR camp of Wusan. “He fired two bullets in his head with his service rifle and died instantly. It is not clear why he took such an extreme step,” he said.
