Minister of State for Health Shabir Khan Friday afternoon submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in winter capital Jammu.

Sources said that the Chief Minister immediately accepted Khan’s resignation.

Earlier, Congress high Command had directed Khan to put in his papers. Sources said after the party directions, Khan sent his resignation to the Chief Minister, who accepted it.

A lady doctor has registered a complaint of Molestation against Khan in Police station Shahid Gunj, Srinagar were a case FIR no 14/2014 under section 509 stands registered.
